An Artist's Abode

I recently stayed in Santa Cruz with my mom's friend Erika Perloff. While I spent most of my time with her son, Dylan, I also relaxed in her studio while she organized, pondered, and re-organized pieces for her upcoming show. Her studio was full of colors and pieces of art both framed and in-process. Here are a few of the little details I noticed that were simple yet showed the beauty of an artist's cluttered yet perfectly arrayed space.
